Get into the holiday spirit in Telluride during the Holiday Prelude. Come enjoy two weeks of holiday activities including tree lighting ceremonies, a trip to the North Pole to visit Santa, live music, kid’s crafts, cookie making, and much more!
The winter season begins with the middle school Young People’s Theater play, “The Ugly Duckling” at the Sheridan Opera House. Written and directed by Jennifer Julia it stars 29 middle school actors. The play is a hilarious romp through the highs and lows of middle school with a definite twist on the original Hans Christian Anderson story.

Telluride Fire Festival. A celebration of fire arts-both performing and sculptural that is centered around a FREE public and interactive experience.
Chocolate Lovers Fling. Dance, eat delectable chocolate from amateur and professional chefs, bid at the silent auction, participate in the cash raffle and wine toss, while supporting the San Miguel Resource Center.
16th Annual Comedy Festival. Each year over Presidents’ Day Weekend the Sheridan Arts Foundation brings in some of the country’s best and funniest comedians for four nights of amazing comedy in a historic and intimate venue.
