Lone Tree Cemetery Tour
“Don’t miss the unique look at Telluride’s history and the iconic people that lived, worked, and were buried here. The tour will depart from the Museum and end at the Lone Tree Cemetery.”

Haunted Hospital
“Bring your courage for a haunted journey through Telluride’s former hospital.”
 
 
NOVEMBER   November 26
Donation Day! Come out and support the Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club one day before the mountain officially opens! All proceeds from lift tickets will go directly to the club!


November 27
Opening Day! Telluride Ski Resort opens for the 2014-2015 ski season!
 
 
DECEMBER   December 3-14
Get into the holiday spirit in Telluride during the Holiday Prelude. Come enjoy two weeks of holiday activities including tree lighting ceremonies, a trip to the North Pole to visit Santa, live music, kid’s crafts, cookie making, and much more!


December 5-7
The winter season begins with the middle school Young People’s Theater play, “The Ugly Duckling” at the Sheridan Opera House. Written and directed by Jennifer Julia it stars 29 middle school actors. The play is a hilarious romp through the highs and lows of middle school with a definite twist on the original Hans Christian Anderson story.


December 6
Ski Tree lighting in Elks Park.


December 24
Christmas Eve & Torchlight Parade. At 6:30pm gather in the Town of Telluride and watch as skiers and boarders meander down Coonskin and Telluride Trail with blazing red torchlights.


December 27
Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue at the Sheridan Opera House.


December 28
Texas indie rock band Seryn at the Sheridan Opera House

Grammy award winning singer songwriter Shawn Colvin at the Sheridan Opera House


December 31
New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks. At 6:30pm gather in the Town of Telluride and watch as skiers and boarders meander down Coonskin and Telluride Trail with blazing red torchlights.

The Sheridan Arts Foundation rings in 2015 with their New Year’s Eve Gala featuring Wynonna & the Big Noise at the Sheridan Opera House.

Brothers Keeper with John Popper and Jono Manson at the Sheridan Opera House.


January 16 -18
Telluride Fire Festival. A celebration of fire arts-both performing and sculptural that is centered around a FREE public and interactive experience.


February 7
Chocolate Lovers Fling. Dance, eat delectable chocolate from amateur and professional chefs, bid at the silent auction, participate in the cash raffle and wine toss, while supporting the San Miguel Resource Center.


February 12-15
16th Annual Comedy Festival. Each year over Presidents’ Day Weekend the Sheridan Arts Foundation brings in some of the country’s best and funniest comedians for four nights of amazing comedy in a historic and intimate venue.
