Mountain Lodge at Telluride Means (Bridal) Business

No. 1 site for Telluride wedding parties offers spot for rehearsal dinners, receptions, showers

Whether it's a ceremony, honeymoon or rehearsal dinner, Telluride remains at the top of the list when it comes to destination weddings. And the No. 1 lodging site for wedding parties in and around Telluride? Mountain Lodge at Telluride.
The reasons are clear, says Neil Nastings, director of sales and marketing for the resort. "We've become the top choice for the value and the variety of accommodations we offer," he explains. "Whether it's a single person, large family or group of friends, Mountain Lodge has more lodging variety and amenities to offer than anywhere in the area - for the best value."

Mountain Lodge at Telluride is an exclusive, slopeside, upscale resort featuring an eclectic blend of rustic elegance and western charm. At 9,500 feet in the San Juan Mountains, the resort offers private luxury cabins with up to four bedrooms, condominiums of varying sizes, and lodge rooms featuring gas fireplaces, private balcony or patio, jetted tubs in master bathrooms, luxurious robes, gourmet kitchens or kitchenettes with granite countertops, and spectacular views.
Guests can enjoy concierge services, an exercise room, steam room, men's and women's locker rooms with showers, outdoor deck with Jacuzzi and heated pool (one of only a couple in Telluride) and complimentary wireless Internet service. In the winter, a ski valet, ski lockers and storage, valet parking and heated underground parking make for a comfortable, cozy experience.

Full catering services available for rehearsal dinners and day-after-the-ceremony brunches. In the summer, 3,500 square feet of poolside space is a popular option for functions. The concierge at Mountain Lodge at Telluride coordinates with ceremony venues throughout the area - ranging from outdoor mountain-top locations to conference centers to traditional churches.

There's something to do in every season in Telluride. Outdoor activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice climbing, snowmobiling and ice skating. In summer, there's rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, backpacking, hiking, fishing, rafting, kayaking and golf. Indoor activities include art galleries, boutique shopping, classes, and time at one of Telluride's exceptional spas spas. Year-round, Telluride hosts family-friendly activities and festivals. Mountain Lodge staff are available to assist with plans, scheduling guided adventures, and even with putting together team-building activities.

Getting There

Located on the scenic San Juan Skyway in southwest Colorado's San Juan Mountains, Telluride is accessible by car or plane (American, Delta, Great Lakes, United).

Upon arrival in Telluride, guests do not need a car. The town of Telluride is 8 blocks long and 12 blocks wide, and offers a free public bus system. A free, energy efficient, continuously running gondola connects Telluride and neighboring Mountain Village.
Wedding experts Denise and Alan Fields, authors of Bridal Bargains and The Bridal Passport Wedding Plan, name Telluride one of their five top destination wedding locations, and their favorite mountain resort. "With world-class skiing, dining, and other outdoor activities, it's not hard to understand why," says Hastings. "Our goal at Mountain Village at Telluride is to make sure that the couples, their friends and their families can take advantage of it all in the best way possible."
