How much terrain does Heli-Skiing cover around the lodge?
Heli-Skiing tours cover more than 200 square miles of high altitude terrain around Telluride. Ranging in elevation from 10,000 to 13,500 feet, almost all of the covered terrain is above the tree line. Advanced-Intermediate to expert skiers and boarders can look forward to tackling high alpine basins, cirques and summits, with most runs corresponding to double blue or single black runs, as rated by Telluride Ski Resort.
