This year's event takes place June 3 through June 6, 2016, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is one of the highly anticipated festivals of the year. Join hundreds of locals and visitors in Telluride Town Park for a weekend of festivities and spend some time exploring the area to enjoy the great dining hotspots and shop local stores.
Kick things off bright and early on June 4 with a pilot briefing and balloon launch at 6:15 a.m. then make your way to the Christ Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. for a free photo workshop led by professional hot air balloon photographer Paul D. deBerjeois. He'll show you how take professional-looking photos with your cell phone or digital camera.
