The View is open year-round with seasonal closures noted during shoulder seasons:
- Breakfast:Daily 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Lunch:11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Happy Hour:2:00 – 4:00 PM
- Dinner:5:00 – 9:00 PM

Ski-In/Ski-Out: In winter, ski directly to our door via the Double Cabin run – just look for Mountain Lodge.
From Telluride Town: Take the scenic 13-minute free gondola ride to Mountain Village. We're a short 5-minute walk from the gondola station at Mountain Village Market Plaza.
Driving: Follow signs to Mountain Village and Mountain Lodge. We offer complimentary parking for restaurant guests – simply let the gate attendant know you're dining at The View.
Shuttle Service: Already in Mountain Village? Call us at (970) 369-5000 and our lodge shuttle will pick you up in Mountain Village Core or at the Market Plaza gondola station. Mountain Village residents can also use the free Dial-a-Ride service to reach Mountain Lodge.
We're conveniently accessible whether you're staying on-site, in town, or just finished skiing. Après-ski visitors in ski boots are welcome – come as you are!

Happy Hour
Unwind daily from 2:00–4:00 PM with our legendary Happy Hour featuring 50% off local craft beers, signature cocktails, and tasty appetizers. It's the perfect time to relax by our crackling fireplace, soak in stunning mountain views from our patio, or mingle in our lively lounge. In her role as Executive Chef, she has introduced the Western slope to the bold flavors of Latin America and the Mediterranean while emphasizing the use of fresh local ingredients. Under Vordokas’ guidance, The View continues to evolve into one of Telluride’s finest dining destinations.

"I visited this place for my birthday and could not recommend it more. We had the greatest server, Michael Jackson, who not only provided us with great humor but also a free round of drinks and dessert. Besides the hospitality, the place blew me away with their food alone. I got their chicken which was to die for! My husband got the steak and he said it’s the best flavor in all of Colorado. All of that combined with the view makes this place a 10/10 place to eat.
Had an absolutely delightful time coming in here for an early dinner. I can’t thank the Chef enough for preparing me a steak before the dinner hours. It was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. All the servers, especially Sebastian, were fantastic. Can’t wait to eat here again someday."
